Episode 33: Cool Runnings (1993)

Inspired by the Beijing Olympics, Mike and I revisited the Disney classic Cool Runnings (1993).

We begin by discussing other Olympic-centric films but we also dive into the variations from the real 1988 Jamaican bobsled story as well as the fine line Disney walks with John Candy's character.

Later, Mike talks about his Disney villains revisit, highlighting the perverse Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) while I hype up Apple TV+'s Severance (2022) and detail my rewatch of Mad Men (2007).
